Common Issues

Camera or scan is not working

• Confirm camera permission is enabled in iOS Settings.
• Use a physical device. Litterbug's camera and model features are not designed for Expo Go or simulator-only testing.
• Restart the app if the camera view becomes stale.

Location or map is not working

• Confirm Location permission is set to "While Using the App."
• Litterbug does not require Always location access.
• Be careful when posting cleanup spots because map pins may be public.

Payments, tips, bounties, or payouts

• Beta payments run through Stripe sandbox unless you have been told otherwise.
• Do not send real money during sandbox testing.
• If a payout, bounty, or tip looks stuck, contact support with your username, the approximate time, and the action you tried.

Account Or Data Requests

• Contact support from the email address used for your Litterbug account.
• Include your username and the request type: account deletion, data access, payment issue, bug report, or feedback.

TestFlight testers can also send feedback through TestFlight with screenshots. In-app feedback is available from the Profile tab.
